Find your way around

Take five minutes to find your media and tools in Tuvima Library. Start on Home, choose a media lane, or search for a title.

Start on Home

Home shows a banner at the top, a Pick up where you left off row, and shelves such as Recently Added. Select a card for details. Use the banner’s action to start or resume it.

The banner puts what you are in the middle of first, most recently touched first, then newly added items. It shows up to five slides. A show you have never played appears as the series with Start watching; once you play an episode it appears as that episode with Resume. To change what the banner may show (turn it off, show fewer slides, leave out books or music, or show only things you have started), open Settings, Preferences, Home. A plugin may suggest an item for the banner; its slide says “Suggested by” and the plugin’s name, and you can switch each plugin’s slides off on the same page.

Pick up where you left off is one row of cards, one for each thing you started: the cover, the type, a progress line such as “42% watched” and a round play button. Nothing started means the row is not shown.

Recently Added offers All, Watch, Read, Listen, and View as switches you can combine; a type you have nothing of has no switch. It shows when media joined your library. A title may also appear on another Home shelf.

Each shelf shows up to 20 titles. Choose View all (the last tile in the row, or the link beside the shelf title) to see the whole list as a grid. Sort it by Recently added, Title A-Z, Year or Recently played, and narrow it with the filters that apply, such as media type, genre, format or progress. More titles load as you scroll. Your sort is remembered for each lane on every device. On a phone, sort and filters are under Filters.

Return to For Me

For Me gathers your Continue, My List, Favorites, Collections, Playlists, and Galleries. Empty shelves are left out. The items belong to your active profile.

My List saves items for later. For Me’s Favorites currently shows songs marked with a heart. Continue follows your progress. Each choice is separate.

Browse Read, Watch, and Listen

Read has books and comics. Watch has movies, TV shows, and movie series. Listen has music, audiobooks, and playlists.

  1. Open a lane and browse its Discover shelves.
  2. Choose a scope, such as Books, TV Shows, or Music, for the full browser.
  3. Use search and the genre, person, year, and status filters where offered.
  4. Choose a sort order, tile size, or Cards/List view where offered.
  5. Open a card for details, then start the item.

Music starts in Songs view. Select a song to play it. Its menu can open the parent album. A TV show lists the episodes you own, not a provider’s full episode catalog.

Explore Collections

Collections offers Discovery, Automatic, Curated, Shelves, and People. Automatic groups connect related works. Curated holds groups someone has put together. Shelves lists eligible book, movie, and audiobook series. People lists primary contributors.

Your own collections also appear in For Me. A library collection enters My List only when you save it and have access. Learn how groups work.

Search the library

  1. Select global Search or press Ctrl+K.
  2. Enter a title, person, series, collection, or playlist.
  3. Select a result, or choose View all results for the full Search page.

The search overlay opens above your current page. On the full page, narrow results by media, result type, year, and sort order.

Open details and fix mistakes

Details shows the item’s title, art, facts, and actions. Open Edit there to fix it, then return to the same page. Correct an item explains which fields you can change.

Open View

View holds personal photos, videos, and other local media in a profile’s Personal Space. Its menu has Photos, Galleries, People, and Places. Sharing follows your rights and the chosen scope.

Check work and settings

The header activity icon opens Operations for system work you can access. Operations shows active work and recent batches. Review Queue holds items that need a human decision.

Settings holds folders, providers, profiles, playback choices, and admin tools. Your role controls which tools you see. Manage library settings explains the admin tasks.
