What is Tuvima Library?

Get a two-minute introduction to Tuvima Library before installing it or exploring your collection. Tuvima brings your owned media together so you can browse, read, watch, and listen in one place.

Bring your files into one library

Connect folders containing books, comics, movies, TV episodes, music, or audiobooks. Tuvima reads file details, finds supported provider matches, and adds covers and relationships where evidence is available.

You choose how each source is handled. Existing libraries are indexed read-only. Managed sources can use permitted organization and metadata writeback. Uncertain matches can ask for your help.

Choose an experience

Home offers discovery and recent additions. Read, Watch, and Listen focus on the kind of media you want. Search crosses the library, and details provides the place to inspect, start, or correct an item.

For Me keeps your profile’s progress, saved items, favorites, and owned groups together. View provides a Personal Space for photos, videos, and other local media, with permission-based household sharing.

A shelf groups related works within a media lane. Trusted series, franchise, or universe relationships can support broader Collections across the library.

Several formats of one title remain variants. Owning an ebook and audiobook alone does not create a broader collection. Grouping depends on stored evidence, rather than invented links.

Keep control of storage and access

The Engine and Dashboard run on your server or computer. Files, the database, profile state, and local AI processing stay on that host.

Local-first does not mean network-free. Enabled providers can request metadata and artwork, model files need downloading, and Places can request external map resources. Privacy guidance explains these boundaries.

Check Early Access limits

Tuvima is in Early Access. Core browsing, built-in experiences, and administration work today, while some discovery, plugin, and personal-media intelligence features remain partial or planned.

Read Product Status before relying on a specific feature. Installed models, saved settings, or source/device records alone do not prove that a complete workflow is active.
